Tom Barton: arrangements

Many of those who got in touch with GIRI following director Tom Barton's sudden passing asked to be kept informed of arrangements.

Tom’s funeral will take place on Wednesday 11th November at 12.30pm at  St Dunstan’s Catholic Church in Woking. The service can be viewed online via https://st-dunstans.org/streaming/

The family has asked that no flowers be sent, but personal donations in Tom’s memory are most welcome either to the RNLI or the Paviors Company Livery Trust for Charities. 

The Get It Right Initiative board of directors has agreed to make a donation of £1,500 to the Paviours Charity on behalf of the entire GIRI membership, to acknowledge the incredible work Tom did, and the legacy he leaves behind. 

The board also agreed to establish an annual GIRI award in Tom’s name, further details of which will be released next year.
