GIRI training now eligible for CITB Employer Network funding

CITB-registered employers booking GIRI training can now benefit from Employer Network funding.

Employer Networks is an initiative set up by CITB to simplify the way registered companies access support and funding, and we are pleased to announce that GIRI Training & Consultancy has been added to the register of recognised training providers.

To be eligible for funding, the training must support and benefit construction employees. Under the Employer Networks initiative, funding will be provided up to an agreed rate with the balance to be paid by the registered employer direct to the training provider. CITB are currently offering each eligible CITB-registered organisation employer funding of up to £25,000 each year to use towards their training requirements.

Training completed before 31 March 2025 may also be eligible for full funding as part of the Employer Network fully funded Future Skills scheme (with no limits on funding for eligible training). This includes GIRI’s open courses, which take place on 25 and 26 March. Contact your local CITB advisor for more information.

Employer Networks have been piloted since July 2022 and aim to bring together employers at a local level to inform CITB on training needs, funding priorities and allocation, and address immediate and future skills requirements by region.
