Free resources for lockdown learning

4 Feb 21

Whether you are working from home or on furlough, GIRI has lots of free resources to enhance your understanding of how and why errors occur in construction and how to avoid them, including a new series of discussion forums running throughout February and March.

These free hour-long events will cover topics ranging from leadership and decision making to lessons learned from recent errors that had catastrophic consequences. We will also be revisiting the Building Safety Bill. For more information and to book visit our events page.

Recordings of our popular GIRI discussion forums and webinars are available on our Youtube channel on a wide range of topics, including a short film explaining the real cost of error. These can provide valuable insights into the work of GIRI and how it can be applied to help eliminate avoidable error and save time, money, and resources.

We also have videos addressing specialist topics, including what the Building Safety Bill will mean for you and how you can use best practice to avoid damage from construction fires or escape of water

You can also find GIRI’s research reports, including the Guide to Improving Value by Reducing Design Error and A Strategy for Change, in the reports section of our website. Both contain valuable insights and practical recommendations that can be applied to any project.

Finally, our newsletter goes out twice a month and will keep you informed of the latest news, events, and initiatives from GIRI. Sign up here
