New industry guide highlights good practice for plant attachments

The Get It Right Initiative welcomes the publication of a new good practice guide for the selection and use of plant attachments.
The guide, developed by a working group of representatives from Tier 1 and 2 contractors, supports the specification, selection and use of fully compliant crane, excavator and forklift attachments to ensure error reduction.
The guidance is intended to be an aid for specific groups of professionals:
- Health and safety leaders.
- Lead appointed persons.
- Procurement leaders.
- Site operatives (as a reference).
The contractor working group included representatives from across industry including many GIRI member organisations. The group included:
