GIRI members lead industry's most successful contract winners

Seven out of the 10 biggest construction contract winners of 2024 are GIRI members, new data has revealed.

Data released by the information specialist Barbour ABI has shown that 7 of the 10 leading contractors are GIRI members. They include:

• Morgan Sindall
• Kier
• Balfour Beatty
• Royal BAM
• Willmott Dixon
• Galliford Try
• Bouygues

In 2024, the top 100 construction contractors secured over £38.6bn of work, an increase of 13% on the previous year. 

The top 10 companies increased their share of new orders to 39% in 2024 from 38% the previous year.
