Latest updates from the GIRI consortium team CITB training modules led by Berkeley and Kier and VINCI:

Attendees from Berkeley, Hochtief, Sir Robert McAlpine, Hoare Lea and Bennetts Associates are lining up for the GIRI Avoiding Errors at Interfaces' courses. Selected participants have also taken part in the Avoiding Errors at Interfaces' Train-the-Trainer course.

Detailed content around 'Strategies for reducing errors' has been developed, and November dates scheduled, for the GIRI Leadership' courses with Kier, Balfour Beatty, JN Bentley and Galliford Try.

Attendees from VINCI, COSTAIN and Bam Nuttall have participated in the pilot Train-the-Trainer 'Skills Development for Supervisors and Managers' part 1 course.

By mid-October over 120 attendees from across the consortium teams will have participated in a Train-the-Trainer course.

Initial research into ways that video can support the proposed training modules has been completed and proposed video content is being mapped to the specific learner journeys to understand how each video can serve multiple training courses.

The training team have been assembling a catalogue of course information which will soon be available for public view on the learner management system website.
