Universal metric to measure Quality Performance

Representatives from ten major UK construction companies met on the 12^th February to discuss the development of a universal metric to measure performance in delivering quality. The consensus was that if we were able to develop a metric that operates in a similar way as the Accident Frequency Rates, with the same level of simplicity, it would be a real boost to delivering quality.

This is a great start for the first meeting of the new GIRI Working Group focused on measuring Quality Performance. One of GIRI's aims is to support the Industry to work together as a whole, and this is a great example of competitors coming together to improve the Industry through collaboration.
