7 Nov 22

GIRI executive director Cliff Smith has invited all members to register now to attend the final GIRI members' meeting of 2022 which takes place at the ICE later this month. This annual review will be an opportunity to look back on what has been achieved this year, and find out about plans for 2023.

The meeting is scheduled for the morning of Thursday 24th November, is free for all employees of GIRI member companies, and will be followed by a networking lunch.

"You are warmly invited to join us from 9am for coffee, with the formal programme starting at 9.30am at the Institution of Civil Engineers, 1 Great George St, Westminster, London," said Cliff.

We have a full programme of speakers for this half-day event, including a very exciting focus on our new GIRI Design Guide and GIRI training, and of course a review of our work this year and plans for 2023.

"We also have some high-profile speakers from our member companies who will share their own experience and case studies of how they are implementing GIRI principles within their working practice."

Confirmed speakers:

Richard Strugnell, head of quality and IMS, and Andy Swift, Euston Project Director, HS2

Colin Campbell, associate director, Scottish Futures Trust

Nick Francis, director, GIRI Training & Consultancy

Gavin Pike, associate director, Bennetts Associates

Stephen Henley, Mace

Chris Wheeldon, VolkerFitzpatrick

Spaces are limited so you must register if you wish to attend, but you are welcome to invite colleagues too.
