Lorna Hagan joins GTC training delivery team

In response to growing demand for GIRI training, GIRI Training & Consultancy has expanded its team of trainers with the addition of Lorna Hagan.

Lorna completed her training to deliver GIRI’s Supervisory and Management Skills and Training Across Interfaces courses in 2024, and will begin delivering the training in the next few weeks.

Lorna is a civil engineer with more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry and a member of the Chartered Quality Institute. She has worked for organisations including Graham, J Murphy & Sons, Ferrovial Agroman, McDonald Keen and Farrans Construction in roles such as site engineer, site agent, cost estimator, quality manager and head of quality.

For the last few years, Lorna has been delivering training and consultancy services within the sector through her own business, Construct Tuition.

“Working as a trainer for the Get It Right Initiative allows me to share my expertise to help the industry get it right first time and drive error reduction,” said Lorna. “As a civil engineer with experience in main contracting, I have seen how costly errors can be, and the GIRI training is invaluable in equipping teams with the skills to deliver quality projects efficiently. It’s incredibly rewarding to support a culture of continuous improvement and excellence."

“We are delighted to welcome Lorna to GIRI Training & Consultancy,” said Rachel Hogarth. “Lorna brings with her a wealth of industry and training experience and will be a great addition to the GIRI training delivery team.”
