GIRI Design Working Group
2 Oct 17The GIRI Design Working Group met last week to start investigating how our Initiative will work with Clients to ensure that everybody understands the importance of getting the budget/ programme/ contracts (and team) right with a focus on error.
The group are looking at how to ensure competence and what factors and elements are required to create the right environment to Get It Right.
An interesting discussion emerged as to whether Designers understand the process that Contractors use to interpret the information on Designers' drawings, necessary for construction to take place.
Feedback will be reported on soon and a design specific webinar is planned for the beginning of 2018.
