Bidding opens on new CITB commission for GIRI training

An invitation to bid for a new CITB commission to become accredited to deliver GIRI training opened on 27 March and will run until 5 May.

CITB has committed £600k to support eligible companies wishing to embed GIRI training across their organisation by undergoing GIRI’s train-the-trainer course. Bidders will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to rolling out the training as widely as possible to maximise the impact of the funding - and to show how they intend to continue the training beyond the funded period. 

You need to register on the CITB's Delta e-procurement platform to complete a submission. You can do so here. 

CITB hosted a webinar on 21 March that set out what the process involves, how to apply, and the key criteria against which bids will be assessed. If you misssed the webinar, you can watch the recording here. You can also seek clarification on any aspect of the process until 21 April.

To be eligible to bid for funding, companies must be CITB-registered.
