GIRI Insurance Guide launch

This in-person event celebrates the launch of the new GIRI Insurance Guide which has been created in collaboration with Kennedys. 

The publication, which is the result of a year-long collaboration between the construction industry and insurers, highlights how expertise in the insurance industry can be enlisted to help avoid and reduce error in construction. It sets out best practice for collaborating with insurers during the course of a construction project, including information on protection against loss, damage, and liability at each stage of a project.

At the launch event chapter contributors will discuss how the insurance sector can engage with construction teams to help them manage risk from the early design stage to completion. The event and guide will also address the growing importance of sustainability in the industry, and the part insurers can play in reducing carbon emissions in the built environment.
