At this meeting of the GIRI Competency & Compliance Forum, guest speaker Tom Hughes from Safer Sphere will lead a practical CPD session exploring Building Safety Act compliance and what it means for project teams across design and construction. The session will provide an overview of the key duties, roles and responsibilities introduced through the Building Safety Act 2022 and associated Building Regulations, with a focus on competence, compliance and reducing error in practice.

Tom will share practical insight from Safer Sphere’s work across building safety, helping attendees understand what needs to be considered, evidenced and managed throughout the project lifecycle.
